About Us
A child’s environment resembles a busy airport – a world full of objects where many things are happening at once. Senses make it possible for them to pick up stimuli in order to be aware of what is happening in their environment helping them to function optimally and stay focused.
From a young age children are affected by the way the brain perceives and interprets the environment through the child’s senses. Limited exposure to a variety of visuals, sounds, movements, scents and feelings (touch) may result in the child not achieving optimum performance.
The KASI System
A child that has successfully integrated their senses into their intelligence are less likely to suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), emotional and behavioural outburst and other un-resourceful condition of being. A well integrated child also has access to more resourceful options when confronted with challenges and obstacles minimising the need for tantrums.
Due to the fact that he most responsive/sensitive children (able to detect and adapt to change) in our communities often end up with the greatest lack in terms of sensory activities in their first interactions, they often suffer from behavioural, feeding, emotional and social problems later.
