What is the benefit of the KASI system

Children will learn from and integrate their intelligence through their senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and feeling as well as through the two hidden senses; the first being the position of the head in relation to the body and the environment and the second the way in which the body is positioned and experienced in relation to the environment and self. The KASI system therefor integrates all 7 senses!

The child is therefor able to enjoy life to the full through a secure identity; through space and time and they will be able to celebrate success and survive failure.

KASI aims for children to:

  1. experience a broader spectrum of emotions spontaneously

  2. be able to articulate their feelings in words to make sense of life

  3. remain attached to their feelings of self-worth and strive after unique aims/goals in spite of setbacks

  4. constantly look at the world with new eyes

  5. be able to replace worn-out beliefs with more successful substitutes

  6. have change resilience; for example not fear a new environment, love, loss etc.

  7. soothe away painful feelings and know how regulate these feelings

  8. be able to be alone without feeling lonely or rejected

  9. be unique in their identity and feel comfortable in it

  10. be able to commit, with integrity, to that which is important to them – their work, those that they love, their family, community and nature.

  11. be able to honestly express their feelings in an intimate relationship

  12. believe in their own capabilities and the support of others
